Berlin, Germany: an AI melting pot

The growing importance of Berlin as a Center of Artificial Intelligence is due to development in Science and Technology. Technological programs are benefiting the region’s economy to a great extent. 273 research projects were completed in 2007-2017 with total funding of  $135 million by the government for the development. 273 companies which employed 5000 people, generated a turnover of $581 million in 2017.

Berlin is in the top 10 startup hubs of European region with over 3000 Startups with more than 100,000 jobs by 2020. And Annual revenue of AI companies is expected to reach $2.3 billion by 2025. And the GDP is expected to grow 13.8% by 2030. Berlin is a European melting point of innovators and inspired people in AI field. In Berlin AI is used in business process, Healthcare (Diagnostic and data analysis) and in autonomous driving as a driver assistant in car.
